Decoration barrel 250 l

Freshly emptied 250 l whisky cask, arrived directly from Denmark. The barrel was first filled with sherry and then with whisky in Denmark.  The barrels are cleaned and the hoops attached before delivery. Each cask is unique. The barrels show signs of use.

The barrels are technically in good condition, but are no longer suitable for food use. They are cleaned under high pressure before shipping and the hoops are shot.

Each oak barrel is unique. Different colorations result from the precious contents that were once stored in them. Small nicks in the wood or minor unevenness are not quality defects, but rather the result of the unique construction method and previous use of the barrels. Hardly any other piece of furniture exudes as much authenticity, esprit and feel-good atmosphere as a wooden barrel, with each one telling a different story from days gone by.
