Flowerpot -  made from a 225 l barrique barrel

The choice is yours: opt for the individual 3/4 flower pot or benefit from the special freight price when purchasing a set - consisting of a 3/4 and a 1/4 flower pot

Ideally suited for larger plants or shrubs. The tubs are made from old oak red wine barrels and are in  a good condition. The tubs are waterproof and can therefore be used as small ponds. The hoops are hot-dip galvanised, the head hoop at the bottom can also be made out of Willow.

When planting the pots, we strongly recommend holes are drilled in the bottom of the container for water drainage.

First, the staves were glued and waves were cut out from the top of the barrel. These waves are finely sanded and the resulting form makes this flowerpot into an absolute eyecatcher in your garden. Two drilled holes serve as carrying handles. The hoops are wire brushed and the pot is coated with boat varnish. The number, dimension and position of the support beams depend on the size and nature of the respective container and may vary.  The illustrations show the scheme. Rain barrel made of chestnut. These barrels are specifically made as decorative barrels unlike the oak barrels. The barrel head has been removed, made into a lid and a wooden handle added. A characteristic of chestnut wood is that it quickly darkens. Untreated barrels change their appearance when exposed to the weather. The hoops may be very quickly affected by flash rust and the tannins wash out of the barrel (tan). Therefore, do not place the chestnut barrels on high-quality patio slabs or paving stones.
