The new seating group from the Wilhelm Eder joinery is something very special. It is characterised by the choice between two versions - either as a rocking chair or as an armchair. The best choice is of course both! The two chairs were made from the staves of a used 225 l red wine oak barrel. Each chair is ergonomically shaped, as we have taken advantage of the natural curve of the original staves. If you are looking for a comfortable, original chair that not only looks good in any setting, but is also a solid wood product, you have come to the right place. The barrel was dried and then carefully disassembled into its individual parts. In the process, the staves were prepared individually. The staves were planed, dressed, cut to size, joined and glued. The armrests and seat height guarantee cosiness! You can see the beauty of the original red wine stains that were created during the long ageing process. That is why each armchair is completely individual. The chair is versatile, as it looks just as good in the living room as in the conservatory, on the terrace or in the garden. Each chair is unique and is made individually, which is why we can take your personal taste into account. You can choose whether your chair should be stained, lacquered or oiled. Barbecue barrel
Our barbecue barrel is a must have for every garden and barbecue fan. This barbecue barrel has been made of a used original bourbon barrel from USA or a used 190 l single malt barrel from Scotland.This barrel is opened towards and is equipped with an original whisky barrel lid as shelf inside. The hoops have been screwed professionally and secured against falling. The barrel has been treated with boat coat and is equipped with a high quality charcoal barbecue (Weber Original Kettle Ø47 cm). A 2/3 barrel wood storage ring has been built around the barrel head. Six hooks have been mounted on the side, which are ideal for hanging up barbecue accessories.
Barrel arbor
This extraordinary piece of furniture is based on large oak barrels, which are converted into an attractive meeting point by our coopers and carpenters. The diameter of approx. 2500 mm enables up to four people to sit on the benches in the oversized barrel head. The table is made of former barrel wood (oak). It is approx. 720 mm high and 1000 mm wide. The depth is adapted to that of the meeting point. There are two benches on the side of the table, these are also made of oak wood and adapt to the depth of the table. On request we can upholster the two benches in leather or fabric. The barrel arbor stands on a full barrel bearing, which measures approx. 250 mm in height. The depth of the entire point can be up to 1800 mm. The back remains closed with the original barrel bottom. The outer cut provides for the haptics and authenticity of the barrel. Depending on the desired appearance, we varnish, oil or stain the barrel inside and outside. The floor is also made of barrel wood. The entire staves are glued and enclosed in hot-dip galvanised tyres. We install a light in the barrel, after consultation with the customer we do the preliminary work. The electrical connection on site must be carried out by an approved master company. Beer garden chair - set of 2
Stable, elegant beer garden chair covered with robinia wood - set of 2. The frame, made of hot-dip galvanized flat iron, we cover in our barrel carpentry with robinia wood. This high-quality, robust wood ensures the long life and high load capacity of the chair. The final treatment of the robinia wood is done by sustainably produced noble waxes. The folding mechanism allows these original beer garden chairs to be stored in a space-saving way after use. The chairs are suitable for use in professional beer garden, other catering as well as in the private sector. Sold in a set of two. This bench was built in our carpenter's workshop as a two-seater. The bench is made only from the staves of a used 225 l red wine oak barrel. It is ergonomically shaped because we have taken advantage of the natural curve of the original staves. If you are looking for a comfortable, original bench, this is it! Bicycle stand
The bicycle stand is made of a barrique barrel halved lengthwise. Up to three wheels can be locked through the slots and metal eyelets in the barrel. A highlight for restaurants, ostrich restaurants and bike tour destinations. Every oak barrel is unique. Different colorations arose from the precious content that once stored them. Small notches in the wood or small bumps are not quality defects but rather determined by the nature of the construction and the prior use of the barrels. Hardly any other piece of furniture spreads so much authenticity, Spirit and feel-good atmosphere like a wooden barrel, each telling a different story from days gone by. Side table - FassStolz® seating group
This table is an example of upcycling at its best. A used red wine barrel has been transformed into a beautiful coffee table through skilled craftsmanship. It looks just as good in the living room as in the conservatory or on the terrace. The table is made from a used 225 l red wine oak barrel. The red wine barrel was cut lengthwise. One half serves as the body and the other half of the cut barrel is reassembled as the tabletop. Barrel bearings act as feet - so the whole package is right here! The red wine colouring of the barrels that used to stand in the wine cellar creates a beautiful and individual pattern each time. The table also offers plenty of storage space. The tablecloth can be removed as a lid. This allows cushions, blankets etc. to be stowed away. You can choose whether your table should be stained, lacquered or oiled. This armchair was lovingly handmade from a lying 225 l wine barrel. For a long durability also indoors we dried the barrel, glued it and painted the tires black. The former red wine barrel was opened so that the width of the seat is about 60 cm. The ergonomically shaped backrest has a height of 60 cm (measured from the seat).Both the seat and the backrest were made of red wine staves and fitted into the barrel.Two barrel bearings act as supports to ensure that the armchair does not remain too massively effective, but still remains reliably in place. The stool has been made out of a 100 l chestnut barrel. The staves have been cut off at the 3rd hoop except of three. Those three staves are the feet of the stool. The hoops are painted black and the wood has been treated to look like oak wood. The stool is painted and the hoops are painted black. Massive bench is for indoor and outdoor use, which is produced from old half-timber – oak beam. The oak beam has been cleaned first and the nails have been removed, then it has been treated with ice blasting.The bench is coated with boat vanish. Exclusive barrel bench, made of wine barrel staves from a large barrel. Many years of red wines have been stored in it, which gives the bench a unique appearance. Each bench is unique especially in the grain of the wood. The character and appearance of the barrel has been retained, only the seat has been planed off. The bench was treated with precious wood oil and is also suitable for indoor use in the garden. It can also be ordered in individual stains and varnishes.
The bench is built only from the front bottom of an old 10,000 l oak barrel, which we have cellared out of our customer's wine cellar and which was covered with precious red wine for many years.The staves were planned, straightened, adjusted to size and glued. The edges are chamfered.The special seating comfort is due to the slightly downward seat and the sloping backrest.Paired with the big wood thickness, an elegant and rustic piece of furniture is created at the same time. After the sanding, the bench is finished with a varnish. For this purpose, we use only ecological and sustainable colors.Our carpenter Jenny paid attention to the ergonomically comfortable seat height and visually the golden cut. Exclusive bar chair made of barrel staves and old barrel hoops. The staves have been smoothed slightly and oiled. For more comfort the seating has been grounded. The back of the bar chair gives away a bit because of the fixing with the barrel hoops. Thanks to a wooden cross constructing at the feet, the necessary stability is assured. At the end the bar chair has been painted with spar varnish. Every bar chair is an unique. It has been produced individually and according to the customers’ demands.
