The bench is built only from the front bottom of an old 10,000 l oak barrel, which we have cellared out of our customer's wine cellar and which was covered with precious red wine for many years.
The staves were planned, straightened, adjusted to size and glued. The edges are chamfered.
The special seating comfort is due to the slightly downward seat and the sloping backrest.
Paired with the big wood thickness, an elegant and rustic piece of furniture is created at the same time. After the sanding, the bench is finished with a varnish. For this purpose, we use only ecological and sustainable colors.
Our carpenter Jenny paid attention to the ergonomically comfortable seat height and visually the golden cut. In the case of our bench this means that the height and depth of the bench and the height of the backrest is 45 cm.
