Our carpentry workshop produces decorative barrel head sections from chestnut barrels. For chestnut barrels, the head is cut off at 12-14 cm (depending on where the barrel hoops are placed). The barrel head sections are cleaned, sanded, glued, flamed and oiled in our joinery. The barrel hoops are painted black.

Laser branding is not included and must be selected separately (see below).

If you are looking for an original and eye-catching bar for your home or your business, the ´Perle´ fits the bill. Everything about this Perle is different and special. The shape of the Perle is very individual so the carpentry workshop was able to turn it into an eye-catching piece of furniture. The upper section is opened by a hinged single leaf door and its base is made out of a piece of glass, about 62cm wide, embedded on a wooden cross. The lower section is opened by hinged double doors. So there is plenty of space for your special items. Inside the barrel, the staves are stained red which is a totally natural result of the wine ageing process. Matt clear lacquer is applied on the outside of the Perle, the barrel hoops are gold lacquered and the dome lid is black. Last but not least, the Perle is lit in two ways. Inside the top of the Perle, small lights with batteries have been installed with multi coloured LED strip lights fitted under the base. Both types of lighting can be remote-controlled. The elaborate matching base is included.Before making shelves, we let the barrels dry and glue the staves individually. This elaborate process ensures the stability of the shelf and prevents the wood from warping due to temperature fluctuations. Please note, however, that too dry and warm heating air does not do the barrel good.

From a Chateau Traditional barrel in which the wine of a renowned Chateau Grand Classé in the region of St. Emilion in Bordeaux matured, our carpenters have created this shelf. Originally made according to the French tradition with hazelnut hoops at the ends of the barrels and a galvanized hoop in the belly, this barrel is eye-catching and practical as a wine rule as a bar table or decoration in your wine cellar, restaurant or store! The inlay is a wine rack for your precious bottles made of solid barrel oak wood. The metal hoops are painted black. Another characteristic of these barrels are the deep red bellies, according to tradition, the originals were painted with red wine and carefully preserved by our carpenters and coopers. The origins of the barrels range from Scotland over continental Europe as far as Asia – There you will also find high-end whisky. All these shelf barrels have been equipped with a glass shelf which makes the inside of barrel elegant appearance. LED lighting has been installed in the barrel (Remote control included) which allows making different light colors from inside. You will often find the original brandings of the distilleries where the barrels came from. Wine bar

An exclusive wine shelf made of a used 225 l wine barrel which has been converted into a mobile and heavy wine bar in elaborate craftsmanship. The barrel has been professionally cleaned, then dried up and glued. A shelf system for wine bottles with support to content of 150 cl has been installed inside of the barrel. The shelf is made of oak wood as well as the barrel. Opened on the side, the shelf holder offers space for five wine glasses which can stored and moved in a secure manner. The edges of the glass shelves have been coated with Bordeaux red. At the top of the bar is a secret panel for storing corkscrews, drop stops and napkins etc. For an individual touch we recommend a laserbranding of your logo or signature on the top. The barrel, as well as the support edges for the top, are designed with gray felt, which creates a warm and quiet feel. The bar is easy and soundless to move thanks to the gummed rolls. A parking break is also included. The barrel and the hoops will be stained or painted in your desired color.
