Around the wooden barrel, we offer a wide range of services. This starts with in-depth consultation, continues with custom barrel storage systems, and includes the handling of barrels in and out of the cellar.
In- and Out-Cellaring
We come to your premises and set up your barrels and barrel storage systems on site, or dismantle them for reconditioning or disposal.
Barrel Reconditioning
Depending on your wishes, the following work can be carried out during barrel reconditioning:
- Removal of tartar
- Re-planing
- Re-toasting
- Repairs
- Sanding
- Surface treatment
- New barrel hoops
- Restoration of carved decorations
Barrel Personalization
Using our laser, we permanently engrave your logo or dedication on your new or used wooden barrel. In addition, in cooperation with an artist, we offer exclusive carvings for your existing or new barrels.
Barrel Storage
We manufacture customer-specific barrel storage systems and recondition existing old wooden barrel racks for you.
Steaming & Barrel Hygiene
To reduce the oak influence on your product, we offer barrel steaming with water or wine. We also provide advice on barrel hygiene, offer selected products for self-application, and of course come on site if problems arise.
Buying & Selling
The buying and selling of used barrels is also one of our specialties. We inspect the barrels on site and purchase them for reconditioning or cascade use in our workshop.

Golden – EDER FassStolz® 600 l Oval
At the customer’s request, this half-size barrel was coated with a golden lacquer. To match, our carpenters built a special barrel rack made of stainless steel and oak wood. The 600-liter golden centerpiece is now on display in the glass wine cellar of the Stuttgart Wine Manufactory.
Oval Large Barrel 600 l – Half-Size – with Plexiglass Stave
The special highlight of this large barrel is the central stave in the lid, into which the door is integrated. Made of transparent plexiglass, it provides a unique view into the interior of the barrel. A display piece now located at the Kreiselmeyer Winery, harmoniously combining craftsmanship, functionality, and transparency.
EDER – FassStolz® Fermentation Vat – German Oak
Fermentation vats produced on customer request, made from seasoned oak wood sourced from the Palatinate Forest / Northern Vosges. Fine-grained, grown on red sandstone for approx. 200 years and sustainably harvested. The vat is fitted with hot-dip galvanized steel hoops. Final finishing was carried out with a food-safe, alcohol-resistant clear lacquer.

Round large barrels produced on customer request, made from seasoned oak wood sourced from the Palatinate Forest / Northern Vosges. Fine-grained, grown on red sandstone for approx. 200 years and sustainably harvested. The barrels are fitted with hot-dip galvanized steel hoops. Final finishing was carried out with a food-safe, alcohol-resistant clear lacquer.
