Use: Alternative products can be used for wines, beers and distillates at any stage of development. The chips are packed in the desired dosage (e.g. in nylon or stainless steel tubes or tubing) and then added to the alcohol.
The treatment with wood chips results in the extraction of colorants, odors and flavors contained in the wood or formed during toasting. Samples should be taken regularly until the desired effect has been achieved with your alcohol and the chips removed.
Contact time: We recommend use during maturation or finishing for a minimum of 14 days and a maximum of 6 months. As an option, the dosage can be stopped during short maturation.
