FassStolz® - Liquid 500 ml
Liquid Oak - Distilled from the heart of french or american oaks. Gently extracted from the hearts of the oaks we saw for our staves. These woods are first processed into wood chips, carefully dried and then macerated in clear spring water, then distilled. The result is a product that perfectly releases its tannins to your distillate to be aged and rounded. It is applied during the maturation in wooden barrels in a dosage between 1 % and 3 %, depending on the desired effect and purpose. The distillate ideally at an alcohol content of about 60 Vol.-% draws from the liquid wood the tannins for rounding and leaves a deposit at the bottom of the barrel. To round off already for a long time in the "Eau de Vie" in use, this product offers a complete elegance in your distillate. Sediments on the bottom of the bottle are normal, please shake vigorously before use.French oak:The liquid wood "French oak" brings out the fruity aromas of the initial product and gives gentle wood aromas. It also provides a balanced sweetness with a finish of vanilla aromas. The results turn out differently, depending on their starting product. American Oak:The liquid wood American oak imparts aromas of ripe fruit and brings a slight sweetness to the product. In addition, light vanilla aromas can be tasted after the application of the liquid wood. The results turn out differently, depending on their starting product. Please observe the relevant legal regulations and, if applicable, labeling requirements.

In simple terms, Paxarette is a concentrate of boiled grape must of the Sancocho and Arrope varieties that is reduced to about 30% of its original volume. The two varieties are then blended and fermented. This "wine" is then sprayed on and partially matured in sherry barrels. Filled in 500 ml bottles, this sherry concentrate then has an approx. alcohol content of 18 vol%.Until the year 1989 it was quite usual to round off whisky with Paxarette, one achieved an intensive colour and a wonderful variety of aromas after prunes, port wine and other intensive flavours. After 1990, the Scotch Whisky Association banned any additives in whisky other than sugarcoleur and water, this is also reflected in the European Spirits Regulation. Approximately 500 ml are calculated per 250 l application product, ideally in a wooden barrel, but the application is also possible in stainless steel or earthenware. Also ideal for cooking or seasoning sauces. When using the product, please observe the applicable legislation and, if applicable, the labelling requirements for your finished product! This cube is cut from cherry tree and enables the extraction of the typical cherry style and colours your product reddish-gold. Cherry is still the distiller’s most favorable taste. And that not only because of the fruit’s fertility but also because it is an inherent part of the culinary culture of Southern Germany and Switzerland. Since 150 years, the particular climatic conditions there and the soil conditions that the cherry trees need to enforce the fruit’s most aromatic evolvement have been and are still appreciated. The sweet cherry has not for nothing been named tree of the year 2010. It is a stone fruit and belongs to the rose family. The “kirsch” is characterized by its complex taste that takes long at its end as well as the decent and subtle flavor. Initiates describe the favor during tastings often as fleshy, fruity, chocolate, sourly aromatic, juicy, lusty or nuttily aromatic. The most crucial point for the distillers is, however, also the question if “stonetone”, i. e. an almond or marchpane flavor is desired. The question if this flavor or homogenous kirsch with a discrete fruit nature should be pursued is highly discussed. Thankfully one should say. Cause: As is generally known, tastes are different. Please observe the spirit regulations of your country! Price is per kg.
