In our own cooperage, we produce your beautiful bath tub from air-dried Douglas fir from the Palatinate Forest.Your pool experience at home. Whether you are splashing around with your children or watching the stars with your partner on a balmy summer night, the bath tub will provide you with unforgettable moments in your garden. The barrel blends in well with the landscape and can be placed wherever you like.Over the years, the wood colour tone will become more intense and the tub will gain radiance. We will manufacture the custom-made bath barrels for you and will be happy to meet your individual wishes. Handmade valinch made of copper for taking distillate samples from the wooden barrel. Those who are dedicated to distillates and are passionate about a certain luxury will find that certain something with the copper valinch. The whisky thief is now not only an indispensable and practical accessory, but also a visual eye-catcher. For the right tasting and also presentation of distillates, the -well better- valincher is the icing on the cake.  In handling, the whisky thief does not differ in any way from its glass counterpart. Aged gin barrels are a very rare commodity. The aging of gin in wooden barrels has just been given a fresh lease of life. And talking of fresh – herein lies the forte of gin barrels. The bitter and herbaceous spice of resin and grass from the juniper berries produces an incomparable flavour which can be imparted to your distillate by aging or finishing it in used gin barrels. The flavour diversity and complexity of gin is an interesting component in the distillates finishing process. Not for nothing is gin a popular player on the bar scene. After all, gin, due to its flavour, is an indispensable ingredient in many cocktails, reflecting its diversity but also its compatibility. The compatibility of flavours shows how a barrel, through its aging of gin, can give a product that certain something.Supplied without barrel storage or racks. By default, the barrels are equipped with a used wooden or plastic bung. If you want a new silicone bung, you can order it under accessories (type standard - C14). Used wooden barrels: Notches in the wood or, in certain circumstances, an uneven base, do not constitute a quality defect, but stem from the idiosyncrasies of the production method and the prior use of the barrels. The usage of the barrel will not be affected by those! The barrels are very carefully checked by us at the exit control against sensor and technical errors. We assume no liability for cracks or splits that occur during maturation. A possible and a reasonable repair is not under guarantee. Pictures are examples, colour variations are possible.  

Bath barrel from a used 400 l barrel with boarding ladder and bench. The barrels are fill tight and may have staining from the red wine aged in them. The barrel is refurbished in our carpentry, sanded and the hoops are painted.The ladder and bench are made in our carpenter shop from high quality, durable Douglas fir wood. The steps are chamfered and equipped with non-slip, grained coating. The bench is planed, joined with stainless steel screws and fine sanded.Hoops:- Dark gray- BlackOur wood comes from sustainable forestry  from the Palatinate forest. At our site, the wood is prepared in our own sawmill and dried in the air. During production, the wood is professionally cut, planed, glued, screwed and fine sanded by our carpenters. Depending on the customer's wishes, a suitable surface treatment is applied during the finishing process: oiled or natural. Note: Please note that each ladder and bench is unique and the dimensions can be adjusted depending on the barrel. Due to the natural product wood, deviations in color and grain occur.
