Produced from seasoned oak wood, origin Palatinate Forest / Northern Vosges!
Fine-grained on red sandstone grown about 200 years, sustainably logged according to certification Naturland or PEFC.

The barrel is equipped with a silicone bung as standard.

This type of barrel is particularly suitable for the maturation of fruity red and white wines that are not to be aged in barrique or tonneau, but are nevertheless to be made somewhat stronger than in the large storage barrel.

Possible accessories: remaining drain connection, blind cap, wooden cleaning door. Additionally we offer steaming the barrel with water or steaming and distilling off with a white wine. On request, we paint the barrel with a breathable lacquer approved for food.
