Whisky barrel 10 l - 50 l freshly emptied - Germany

Freshly emptied whiskey barrels in sizes 10 l - 50 l, previously filled with whiskey from the Betz distillery in Waldstetten.

On the edge of the Swabian Alb our barrels of fine-pored oak stored for 8-9 months under the best conditions.

The barrels were filled with single malt or rye whisky by the Betz distillery. The fine aroma, which also stands out due to the special malt blend, can now also be clearly perceived in the freshly emptied barrels.

Another special feature, in addition to the small barrel sizes (and the much larger inner surface), is the special malt blend. The rye whiskey is produced according to biodynamic guidelines and viewpoints.

Due to the specific storage in the months of July 2020 - March 2021, the barrels and the whiskey stored in them were constantly exposed to the ambient climate. The climatic conditions of the summer, autumn and winter seasons have given the whisky its own intense aroma.

Sensory:
Strong nose, of cereals and late summer, malty, mild flavor, persistent, long-lasting in the mouth.

Used wooden barrels: Notches in the wood or, in certain circumstances, an uneven base, do not constitute a quality defect, but stem from the idiosyncrasies of the production method and the prior use of the barrels. The usage of the barrel will not be affected by those! The barrels are very carefully checked by us at the exit control against sensor and technical errors. We assume no liability for cracks or splits that occur during maturation. A possible and a reasonable repair is not under guarantee.
