Right - we are at Maker´s Mark in Kentucky!
The noble distillery of Jim Beam is known for its soft whiskies mainly made of corn. A crowd-puller and an Eldorado for Bourbon lovers and experimental burners.
So Maker´s Mark was one of the first distilleries that ever started to refine some of their varieties with Oak Staves - think of the famous 46!
From Loretto / Kentucky we offer freshly emptied barrels from one of the oldest and largest Bourbon distilleries in the United States. Barrels once topped with Straight Bourbon, fresh and mild. The barrels offer a warm aroma and are very suitable for the maturation of fruit distillates and gin!
Tasting: Mild, not too spicy, yet classic bourbon notes, strong vanilla aromas paired with caramel, nutty, well integrated wooden barrel from American oak.
We offer freshly emptied barrels from Loretto in Kentucky, Original Maker´s Mark.

Used wooden barrels: Notches in the wood or, in certain circumstances, an uneven base, do not
constitute a quality defect, but stem from the idiosyncrasies of the production method and the prior use of the barrels. The usage of the barrel will not be affected by those! The barrels are very carefully checked by us at the exit control against sensor and technical errors. We assume no liability for cracks or splits that occur during maturation. A possible and a reasonable repair is not under guarantee.
