Bourbonbarrel 190 l - Jim Beam

Whenever Bourbon is talked about - Bar Keeper, Bourbon lovers and even politicians talk about Jim Beam.

The distillery was founded in 1795 by Jacob Beam and the "mother" of all bourbons with a stock of several million barrels of American oak is now the largest whisky brand in the world and is still run by a descendant Beams´. Since 2014 the Jim Beam distilleries belong to the Japanese group Suntory.

The freshly emptied Jim Beam barrels in our shop are the prelude to a whole series of different barrels from the company in 2020 - let us surprise you!

Bourbon 190 l - Once selected

Tasting note: Good body with notes of toasted oak and all the requisite notes of vanilla and crème anglaise, a little spice and pepper with an acetone note.

By default, the drums are equipped with a used wooden or plastic bung. If you want a new silicone bung, you can order it under accessories (type standard - C16).

Used wooden barrels: Notches in the wood or, in certain circumstances, an uneven base, do not
constitute a quality defect, but stem from the idiosyncrasies of the production method and the prior use of the barrels. The usage of the barrel will not be affected by those! The barrels are very carefully checked by us at the exit control against sensor and technical errors. We assume no liability for cracks or splits that occur during maturation. A possible and a reasonable repair is not under guarantee.
