The barrels have been filled with sweet white wine (age 2017) from Jurançon.
It’s a royal wine which were used to christening the French heir to the throne. According to old Pyrenean custom the lips where moistened with garlic and Wine from Jurançon.
The garlic should give the baby strength and endurance while the wine should grant esprit and negotiating skills.
The wine counts to the most interesting sweet wines in France. It’s grown in the extensions of the Pyrenees in south-west of France. This sweet wine is made of Courbu, Petit and Gros Manseng which are harvest late. The golden yellow color, the juicy bouquet with a hint of cinnamon and clove are the characteristics of this sweet white wine.

Barrel will be deliverd with a wooden or silicon bung.
Used wooden barrels: Notches in the wood or, in certain circumstances, an uneven base, do not constitute a quality defect, but stem from the idiosyncrasies of the production method and the prior use of the barrels. The usage of the barrel will not be affected by those!
