Granulated chips are made from freshly emptied Cognac barrels which are produced from French Limousin Oak. They are not only perfect for maturation of grain, whisky and brandy but also perfectly suited for fruits spirits, such as cherry, pear and much more.
They are excellent for intensifying the flavor of beer, Bierbrand, whisky and grain etc.
Maturation time: approx. 6 weeks with a dosage of 6 g per liter. (It deals with a general recommendation.)

The vacuuming process ensures freshness preservation, especially of granulated chips from pre-filled barrels. The aroma of sherry, whiskey, rum and Co. is not lost. Low alcohol chips can´t esterify through this process and the wonderful flavor is preserved.
