American oak is a very important flavor contributor to the spirit. Vanilla, caramel, and maple syrup are a few of the typical flavors created during aging.
Emphasizes the typical characteristics of American wood and with its distinctive character it enhances the aroma of the typical Bourbon barrels.
Full taste of vanilla, caramel and maple sugar syrup paired with a high Cis Lactone content which promises coconut aromas!
This barrel is available in a strong toasting over oak fire with a light Char #1 or the most powerful of all Char Toasts the Alligator #4.

Heavy Toast with Char finish
The barrel has been toasted slowly over an oak fire for 30 minutes before it catches on fire to create the char level on the surface. Longer aging is required for this toast to maximize flavor and complexity.
