Rain barrel made from a used 500 l oak wine barrel. The lid has been removed and fitted with a wooden handle. Various designs. The barrel may be stained by the red wine that has matured in it.

Rain barrels for collecting rainwater are real all-rounders. The rain barrels, which were once used for maturing beer, wine or distillates, are not only a real eye-catcher in a park or in your garden. Wooden barrels are without question the most sustainable form of rain collection, as wood is a renewable resource. Each oak barrel is unique. Different colorations are caused by the precious contents that were once stored in it. Small notches in the wood or minor unevenness are not quality defects, but are rather determined by the unique construction and previous use of the barrels.
