Shelf table - vertically separated

Exclusive shelf table, made from a used 225 l wine barrel, which was transformed into this great piece of furniture in elaborate craftsmanship.

The barrel was professionally cleaned, dried, glued and finely sanded. Then the upper third of the barrel was cut off to reach a final height of about 58 cm for the table.

The special thing about the table is the vertical edge at the back. So you can place the table on a wall to save space.

The beautiful appearance is rounded off with a small insert for your beautiful things and by the solid semicircular table top made of oak. The barrel hoops are brushed and the complete shelf is covered with clear varnish.

Before making shelves, we let the barrels dry and glue the staves individually. This elaborate process ensures the stability of the rack and prevents the wood from warping due to temperature fluctuations. Nevertheless, please note that too dry and warm heating air is not good for the barrel.
