Bench - FassStolz® seating group

This bench was built in our carpenter's workshop as a two-seater. The bench is made only from the staves of a used 225 l red wine oak barrel. It is ergonomically shaped because we have taken advantage of the natural curve of the original staves. If you are looking for a comfortable, original bench, this is it! 

The barrel was dried and then carefully disassembled into its individual parts. The staves were prepared one by one. The staves were planed, dressed, cut to size, joined and glued. The ideal height of the armrest and seat height ensures cosy hours. 

You can see the beauty of the original red wine stains that were created during the long ageing process. Each bench is unique and is individually made, therefore each bench can be tailored to your personal needs.  

You can choose whether your bench should be stained, lacquered or oiled. Please make your choice in the "Accessories" section when ordering.

This bench is part of a furniture set. You can also buy a side table, rocking chair and armchair.
