Barrel armchair

This armchair was lovingly handmade from a lying 225 l wine barrel. For a long durability also indoors we dried the barrel, glued it and painted the tires black. The former red wine barrel was opened so that the width of the seat is about 60 cm.  

The ergonomically shaped backrest has a height of 60 cm (measured from the seat).Both the seat and the backrest were made of red wine staves and fitted into the barrel.

Two barrel bearings act as supports to ensure that the armchair does not remain too massively effective, but still remains reliably in place.
