Wild berry Barrel 100 l

A barrel made in our cooperage under our own brand EDER - FassStolz®. The barrel consists exclusively of the air-dried deciduous wood of the Elsbeere (Sorbus torminalis). The special distillate barrel is equipped with hot-dip galvanised tyres, treated with a breathable, food-certified glaze on the outside and lightly toasted on the inside.

Origin: Germany from certified forestry

The Elsbeere, among other things also "beautiful Else" called, is a rare deciduous tree species. It is one of the most expensive deciduous trees and provides a very high-quality wood of light white-yellowish to slightly reddish colour. Wild Service Berry wood is heavy, hard and tough and has comparable properties to oak.
